Proverbs: 15: 4 - "A wholesome tongue is a tree of life: but perverseness therin is a breach on the spirit."

Proverbs: 18: 21 - "Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof."

Ephesians 4:25, 29-32
 ²⁵Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.
 ²⁹Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.
